- Sherry on HMS Alesto (Haefele's Majestic Ship)
- The trip began in 2001. Three boats and many islands later we'll head out again in September. Our travel commentary often follows the HE SAID/SHE SAID format. It's often hard to believe we're describing the same events. Lee is captain, lover of offshore passages. Sherry is in charge of heads and beds, and everything else that lets her ignore large waves and threatening weather. She obeys her mother-in-law's adage when possible: "keep land on both sides at all times". Her friend Bonnie's advice is also followed:"keep the boat right side up". Our Leopard 38 catamaran helps with that. Courage is a trait that never came up in life until she went to sea and found it to be sadly lacking. Her list of things to worry about continues to grow, but so does the list of wonderful memories. So the boat trip continues. Come along.
